Germano Di Chello
[BA (Hons), Dip Arch, ARB, RIBA]
Germano began his architecture practice in 2014 following the completion of significant projects within the UK, Italy, Denmark and Russia during his time at Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands (2000-2013) as a Project Director and Associate Director.
He co-founded the Collaborative Office of Research and Design (CORD) in 2016; a London-based practice combining architecture, art and research in order to produce innovative design solutions to projects large and small.
Germano has extensive experience in the design and delivery of a wide range of projects, including food retail, restaurants, commercial, residential and mixed-use schemes. He has collaborated with Dominic Ford on several completed projects including Milan’s La Rinascente 7th floor food hall, the Harvey Nichols restaurants in Manchester and Edinburgh, and Tsvetnoy’s Central Market in Moscow.
Germano lives in London with his long-term partner and two children; when they have a spare moment, they enjoy travelling especially to the Italian Apennines and the Scottish Highlands.
He’s of Italian-Ecuadorean descent with a love for chocolate making which he always enjoys afterwards with a fine malt whisky.
