Lindsey began her food buying career in 1999 at the prestigious Fortnum and Mason in London, where she became the buyer for Grocery, Tea, Coffee, Chocolates and Confectionery. During her 8 years at F&M, Lindsey was part of the master plan team to redesign the new Food Hall, with her main focus on the Chocolate and Confectionery fridges and stunning counter displays.
Lindsey then worked on other projects, which included installing a new EPoS system into the five Partridges of London shops, and being responsible for their product and hamper ranging, catalogue production and online shop development.
In 2011, Lindsey joined Selfridges as the Grocery Buyer, launching new and exclusive brands, including Joe&Seph’s Popcorn, introducing Popchips from the US, and heading up exciting concepts and installations in the world-famous food hall, including the 125-year anniversary of Coca Cola pop up bar and interactive shop. In recent years, Lindsey’s buying expertise reached across to Spain to become the Buying Manager of Brindisa Spanish Foods based in London, selecting and negotiating logistics to import some of the finest Spanish produce, supplying restaurants, supermarkets, deli’s and food manufacturers across the UK.
With over 20 years of food buying experience, a Masters degree in Food and Grocery Management and a Great Taste Awards Judge, Lindsey can offer a wealth of knowledge from product buying, ranging, pricing, supplier relations and trading terms.
Having a BSc degree in Marine Biology, Lindsey enjoys swimming and free diving (only in sunny climates!) as well as cycling.
